The impact of the earthquake is more than expected. In Japan’s domestic auto industry, the engine output on March 25, 2010 appears to have cut production by 45 million units. 75 million are from the global automotive production terms. This number is not large——only two weeks of production. But its effect on the Japanese domestic semiconductor industry may cause the decrease in total production in 2011 of around 20%. Considering the impact on the future, it will be extended, to some extent, and there are still too many uncertainties. In this case, the industry will develop semiconductor industry and various recovery strategies in future. As one member of them, I would like to suggest that some of the Japanese semiconductor industries be moved to Brazil.
Brazil will become the electronic manufacturing base in South America. In the world to the other candidates, why select Brazil it? This is because Brazil has become a production base in South America, the potential of e, if they can have a strong technical strength and build a complementary relationship between Japan, as well as possible for Japanese semiconductor company into a growth path again.
As we all know, Brazil has as many as 100 million 90 million population, and has rich natural resources. Gross domestic product (GDP) is now over with the BRIC countries (BRICs) of India, inflation is expected in the future the same time, to achieve stable economic growth (2009 has been out of the world financial crisis.) By increasing domestic purchasing power, its economic structure is moving from export-dependent structural transformation led to domestic demand. The reason is that the Government plans to implement the eradication of poverty and poverty reduction while increasing the number of the middle class, the mass consumer market (VolumeZone) increasingly active young consumer group. At present, so that Brazil is undergoing tremendous changes. In recent years, the new middle class was born (known as “ClassC”) number nearly 1 million, has become more than half of the total population of a major consumer level.
